I ask that new clients commit to weekly sessions when we first begin. Research shows that consistent weekly therapy produces the best results, and I’m focused on helping you heal and grow as efficiently as possible. After that, we will decide the frequency together based on your ongoing needs and progress.
If we are a match after your free 15-minute clarity call, you’ll receive immediate access to my secure online client portal where you’ll complete a few simple forms. I’ll review everything before our first session so we can use our time effectively.
My goal is to help you feel better and reach your goals fast— not keep you in therapy forever. Most clients start noticing meaningful progress within the first 6–8 weeks and reach their initial goals in about 4–6 months with weekly sessions.
That said, many of the patterns, emotions, and experiences that bring people to therapy were built over years and healing varies by individual. Even for the perfectionist :-)
Yes! I offer a limited number of early evening sessions because I know many of my clients have busy work schedules. All sessions are conducted via secure telehealth, so you can attend from wherever is most convenient for you.
Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give me as much notice as possible ( 24 hours). We will work together to find another time that same week whenever possible. I do have a 24 hour notice policy to avoid being charged for late cancellation if we are unable to reschedule within the week.
**I am currently transitioning my practice to cash-pay therapy sessions and specialized cash-pay coaching services. New clients are encouraged to contact me directly so we can discuss the best fit.**
Why the switch?
I’ll be honest with you.
When I opened my private therapy practice, my goal was to create a truly personalized experience — one that puts your growth, your outcomes, and your unique needs first. I’ve always worked hard to protect your confidentiality, avoid unnecessary diagnostic labels, and focus on practical, effective
strategies that actually make sense for your life.
Over time, I’ve realized that continuing to work with insurance companies makes it harder for me to deliver the highest level of care I want to give you. Insurance requirements often pull my attention away from what matters most: you and your progress.
For these reasons, I have decided to move to a cash-pay / private-pay model only. This allows me to stay fully focused on providing you with my best energy, attention, and expertise in every session.
If you would like to submit claims to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, I’m happy to provide a superbill for you to submit directly.
